The prospect of the party-anywhere trend might have you unfazed by now, but what if we told you there’s now gonna be a so-called ‘rave’ inside a national library? You read right – even the supposedly quietest of public spaces aren’t immune to the proliferating trend of sober parties. Whether you subscribe to the hype or not, this upcoming unlikely pairing is all ready to kick off this weekend courtesy of Exposure Therapy. If that name rings a bell, Exposure Therapy is the crew who made headlines with their ’matcha rave’ concept held at RASA, and they’re continuing their takeover antics at Orchard Library with an event called The Future Rave.

An extension of Exposure Therapy’s matcha rave ethos with its fifth instalment, The Future Rave finds a one-night home within the ongoing SG60 Heart&Soul Experience that’s, in turn, rooted in Orchard Library till December. Maximising their real estate, the event will present two dancefloors with different genres – the Legacy Floor that’s programmed for timeless house music, and the Stereo Selects silent disco experience that will peddle Exposure Therapy’s signature commercial sound through headphones. Transforming the library into a hardly quiet ruckus will be the performer lineup of LI.A, KRVY, Shahan and Chi Chi, starting early at 5.45pm and ending at a wholesome time of 9pm.

Support for this novel gig has been so overwhelming that registration’s already closed, but they’re still open for walk-ins – on a first come, first served basis – if you need to strike ‘partying inside a library’ off your checklist.

Exposure Therapy: The Future Rave, 29 November 2025, 5.45pm-9pm, Orchard Library, orchardgateway, 277 Orchard Road, Singapore 238858. For more information, visit their event page or follow their socials.
