Where live music venues are concerned, the Capitol Theatre is quite a space to behold with its Art Deco architecture, domed ceiling and Pegasus statues. But insert electronic music into the equation, and the transfixing locale morphs into something else entirely. The ArtBeyond promoters are well aware of this transformation, and they’re planning to take it up a notch by bringing back their flagship HALO series to Capitol Theatre, and let’s just say their vision is no small feat.

This edition of ArtBeyond’s HALO concept arms the heritage arena with a world-class d&b soundsystem, respected for its “fully immersive 360°” tuning that elevates the electronic music experience with clarity and quality. And to test out these big guns, ArtBeyond has assembled quite the lineup. Fronting this amped-up HALO show is none other than Ben Böhmer, the acclaimed melodic house figure known for his enchanting arrangements, plush textures and spiritual drops. The German superstar – with his soul-hugging choons on Anjunadeep and Ninja Tune – is slated to play a live set, and he will be joined by an array of supporting acts, including a collaborative electronica performance between guitar-wielding Burning Man alum Allen Hulsey and Singaporean classical pianist Churen Li. And on DJ duties, the show’s also roped in genre-traversing magic man, James Selva, for his progressive and psychedelic expertise.

ArtBeyond presents HALO featuring Ben Böhmer, 22 January 2026, 8.30pm-1am, Capitol Theatre Kempinski, 17 Stamford Road, Singapore 178907, get your tickets here. Follow ArtBeyond on socials for more information.
