Electric Playa: ArtBeyond & Ciel Social Throw A Progressive Two-Stage Takeover At Rumours

If Playa pilgrimages have always been on your party agenda, here’s a one-of-a-kind revelry that intends to capture that spirit in sound. Electric Playa! takes the deep and progressive musical language of Burning Man and channels it onto the shores of Siloso Beach, transforming Rumours Beach Club into a rare two-stage jamboree with double the action.

Electric Playa! is a fusion of two nightlife powerhouses. Pulling the strings are ArtBeyond who’ve consistently roped in international house and techno heavyweights from the melodious end of the spectrum; they’re also the ringleaders of the kink-inclined DoMeKinky! parties. And their fist-bumping partners in crime are the lads from Ciel Social, pop-up party upstarts who’ve organised organic house and melodic techno raves in forests, rooftops and sub-zero ice chambers. Their go-to sounds sit snugly on the same frequency, now harmoniously resonating in Electric Playa! with a big headliner reveal – two of them in fact.

Leading the lineup are two industry phenoms who have crafted legacies for themselves with their grip on progressive, deep and melodic sounds. You have the renowned Patrice Bäumel who’s known for his extended set journeys, and top-tier releases on Kompakt, Afterlife and Crosstown Rebels. And then you have the return of Guy Mantzur who’s respected as the co-owner of the Munich-based Plattenbank, with his own releases finding fame on Lost & Found and All Day I Dream. Aside from their solo sets, Bäumel and Mantzur are also scheduled to close the event with their first-ever B2B set in Singapore.
