TRIFECTA Backyard Sessions: The Gig Series Where You Can Catch Bands In A Skate Bowl Is Back

In an impressively short span of two years, TRIFECTA has become a cultural institution. Not just because of its surf-snow-skate concept that’s been a boon for sports and adrenaline junkies, but also due to its savvy attachment to the music scene. It’s why the lifestyle destination naturally launched its TRIFECTA Backyard Sessions back in March 2024, transforming its skate bowl into a pop-up live gig venue for indie solo acts and bands. Now after a short break and over a year later, TRIFECTA salutes its roots with the returning fourth volume of its signature series.

For TRIFECTA Backyard Session Vol. 4, the series keeps it loud and rebellious while acute with its programming. Happening on 9 November, this gig boasts a lineup of scene favourites and fresh faces. Subsonic Eye jives with jangly energy, Sappy Chill turns up the funk, Cactus Cactus goes on a punk-fuelled rampage, and the newly-emerged Inkblot Page serve a raw dosage of post-punk.

This series comeback bears additional significance. It marks TRIFECTA’s second anniversary celebrations and kicks off X *SCAPE, a separate festival celebrating the full reopening of *SCAPE. In the weeks to come following Backyard Sessions, TRIFECTA invites gung-ho sports athletes to participate in the TRIFECTA Surf League, TRIFECTA Snow League, and TRIFECTA Wham! Bam! It’s A Skate Jam! events during the weekend of 22-23 November. With tricks and tunes, TRIFECTA is getting another wave of excitement.
