LENERD+10: The Open-Format Champ Throws A B2B2B2B-∞ Event Featuring 10 DJs At NOVA

We all fancy ourselves a well-oiled B2B sesh on the decks; two DJs back-to-back syncing through sound and chemistry in check. And sure, it’s not uncommon to up the ante on that formula and witness a B2B2B performance between three DJs. But for industry stalwart and Revelry honcho LENERD, he’s audaciously tossing in a stick of dynamite and closing the hatch, essentially blowing the B2B format out of proportion with not two and not three, but 10 DJs – yes, you read that right. Did someone say too many DJs? LENERD doesn’t give a damn.

Logistically, we’ve no idea how LENERD’s bold hand is gonna play out, but the results will most certainly be entertaining. The event is aptly (and not subtly) called LENERD+10, and it’s taking place 63 floors skyward at NOVA, Singapore’s highest rooftop bar where LENERD holds a residency. LENERD+10 is an extension of his usual LENERD+1 series, a giga-sized one at that with a roster of 10 crowd faves and up-and-comers.

Fronted by LENERD, the ensemble promises an open-format cornucopia of sounds, and it’s got the firepower to make it happen. The lineup features both local DJs and producers, including JUMBOGOATXXL known for his hard groove rhythms, house wunderkind Foxela (whose jersey club remix of a NewJeans song created a viral Boiler Room moment), Adeline Ayla (AKA D-LINEZ) who runs hard dance promotion Absurd, as well as KNIGHTNDAE, EKO, Redmoon, Harv, Charlane, Arlqin and Rekker. LENERD has promised everything from Afrohouse and UKG to dubstep and baile funk, and we’re curious to find out if this Avengers-like mash-up has what it takes to kick off a new trend.

Turns out, it’s also LENERD’s birthday.
