The dancefloor slayers of Ice Cream Sundays and Darker Than Wax are back on their killing spree. With a sharpened arsenal and loaded artillery, the celebrated party collectives are about to unleash their shenanigans upon a deathly territory that’s been getting a new lease of life. Of course there’s only one demon-infested, hell-raising enclave that fits the bill, and that’s the theme park of nightmare fuel that is Haw Par Villa. Is your soul and body ready for another Haw Par Thrilla?

Marking the third instalment of Ice Cream Sundays’ signature series, Haw Par Thrilla 3 busts out yet another collaboration – with former editions featuring Mugic Soundsystem and Shi Fu Miz – with Darker Than Wax. The two units themselves have a studded history of partnership over the years, with their Open Door antics that’ve popped up in venues like Gillman Barracks and even a ship repair factory along Cavan Road. As a Haw Par Thrilla fiesta, this reunion gig unites the extraordinary ensembles for a full day of world music, house, funk, disco, electronica and beyond, with the cream team of Toppings, Muto and Bongomann from ICS, and Dean Chew, Kaye, A’alely, Daryl Knows, Dexter Colt and ERI from DTW.

Along with the tag-team tunage, Haw Par Thrilla 3 will be the first ICS event that showcases F&B offerings from Offtrack, which is also affiliated with both outfits. Stay nourished and hydrated from all your freaky footwork with Offtrack’s specialty cocktails and grub offerings, which will come creeping out of its brick and mortar establishment to feed the festivities.

And because no event is complete without décor that passes the vibe check, Haw Par Thrilla 3 will be decked out in aesthetic sensibilities that even Confucius will find funky. Be razzled and dazzled by custom lighting and projections by Clare Chong and Aaron Ang of Dvrk By Hei, embrace the architecture of installations by Pier Alessio Rizzardi of TCA Think Tank, and immerse your senses into the botanical and landscape design of Bryan Kang from PUDICA.

So come on down for a rave that will be remembered long into the afterlife. Your demons are invited too.
