GrooveTop Brings Down Perth’s Viral SYBER Collective For A Filmed & Broadcasted Set In Singapore

You might’ve caught their viral clips bobbing along the interwebz, providing an alternative medium that aren’t your usual bigwig suspects for DJ performances. Relatively a nascent entity originating in Perth in late 2023, SYBER made its presence felt in Australia with its border-breaking programme of global and underground club sounds – from hip-hop and Jersey club to Baile funk and amapiano – immortalised further through recorded sets that’ve racked up over 23 million views. The SYBER movement was spearheaded by two fashion brands, Medicle and Turnerboucaut, and it’s expanded its sphere of influence with its live events that are now making their way here for a mini regional tour.

On 8 November, SYBER brings its frenetic crowd-pulling energy to Singapore, courtesy of local nightlife champs, GrooveTop. The GrooveTop team knows this is gonna be a big one, and they’ve fittingly booked China Street’s Glass Dome to host the SYBER takeover. Representing the dynamite DNA of the SYBER crew are founder TYE TURNER (AU) as headliner, DASBOYY! (NZ), AUNTIE MUNNIE (AU), and HARVESTER (AU); along with CY & VERTIGO from SYNCCITY (CH). And because no GrooveTop party is complete without some homegrown representation, this gig’s also loaded with performances from our very own HBN and SoundsOfFai.

And in true SYBER fashion, this event will be filmed and posted on their YouTube channel, promoting our local DJs alongside SYBER’s international roster to their global audience of millions. Now who wants to be on camera?
