Techno Pop-Up Promoters .KRATE Go Big With 5th Anniversary Gig Featuring RUIZ OSC1

Like an anticipated unboxing, there’s constantly been a layer of intrigue simmering in the scene when it comes to the party-plotting antics of .KRATE. Launched back in 2020 as an extension of .KORSAIR by co-founder and techno luminary Erwin Linden, .KRATE has left indelible craters in the circuit with the impressions left behind by its seismic pop-up parties, from gargantuan halls in Suntec City to 360-degree screen-flanked stages at ALICE@MEDIAPOLIS. They’ve had a calculated and effective run, switching out quantity for more limited impactful gigs, with some even recruiting international heavyweights like Nakadia, Bianka Banks, Will Clarke and Stoked. And now on their fifth year, they’re inviting fans to yet another canonical moment.

.KRATE’s fifth anniversary gig is going big with an exclusive collaboration and pop-up experience with YSL Beauty, exhibiting the cross-disciplinary appeal of their brand. RASA is the playground of their escapades, and .KRATE has lined up the stellar squad of 3MZY, Dodi & Brian, Loyboy, James Selva, Sivanesh, and .KRATE residents Erwin Linden and Taz Angullia. Yet they’ve got one more ace up their sleeve, and that’s Bogotá techno firestarter RUIZ OSC1 who’s been locked in as the event’s headliner. Think unfettered energy, lightspeed tempos and mischievous percussions; that’s the kind of feverish output – or “folkloric groove techno”, as she calls it – you can expect from a RUIZ OSC1 onslaught.

The stage is set and the pieces are in play. Looks like the .KRATE legacy is bound to keep on going.
