Truck Yeah! Wild Pearl, Manifest & GrooveTop Are Serving A Food Truck Block Party

Pull up and park your curiosity because here’s a party that’s shifting gears. Never mind a club or a rooftop bar or some artfully chiselled nook or cranny. This is a party about trucks – food trucks to be exact. Truck Yeah! is a new food truck block party that’s popping up at the freshly baked Gourmet Park at Resorts World Sentosa. If you’re ravenous for both scrumptious eats and spun beats, start cranking that party engine.

Organising the entertainment is a platter of promoters who are whipping up a triple serving of DJ performances. Truck Yeah! is the brainchild of Wild Groove Fest, a three-way collaboration between Wild Pearl, Manifest and GrooveTop. All three names are established in the promoter circuit, often surfacing in scattered locations to deliver unexpected party experiences. Truck Yeah! is no exception and it’s got a scorching lineup that best represents the musical flavours of their gigs.

The genre menu includes GrooveTop’s bobbing blend of funk, soul, r&b, hip-hop, Afro and UK garage; while Manifest keeps it spicy and dicey with a mixture of house and tech. Steering the soundtrack is a fitting ensemble of selectors, with the dream team of Dee, Ya5th, A/K/A Sounds, RAAJ and James Selva on decks. And keeping the oven warm and toasty is Wild Pearl Radio, with selected DJs streaming live from a food truck no less.

And speaking of the trucks, you can’t have an event like this and not chat about the food. Gourmet Park recently rolled out as Singapore’s largest and only food truck/container park, and it’s got a fleet of 14 different stations with offerings from Michelin-starred chefs and rising stars. From lobster rolls to tacos, plant-based burgers to smoked ribs, and even elevated nasi lemak and wanton mee, there’s a taste here for everyone (see here for the full list of food vendors).

Step on the gas ’cos ticket sales for this pop-up event are gonna dart off like Hot Wheels.
