With its brick-and-mortar shop still operating at The Esplanade, The Analog Vault is taking the opportunity to host DJ sets from its home, which will be live-streamed on Singapore Community Radio. Sets from this go-to haunt aside, the store has also set up a string of live performances to stream from the studio headquarters of BCUBE Live Sound & Production, another partner which has strong ties with the record store.

Kicking off on 3 October at The Analog Vault, the digital jamboree showcases DJ sets from the respected roster of RAH, Darren Dubwise and MZA, with selections spanning worldly picks, vintage cuts and other rarities lurking in their crates. And a week later on 10 October at BCUBE’s studio, tune into live jams from scene veterans, including the electronica expeditions of .gif and Intriguant, and even a set from pioneering alternative band, Hanging Up The Moon.

The Analog Vault will be running promos on its products when you make your purchases in-store (earn a spot on the store’s membership programme) or from its online shop (15% off with the code TAV5YRS). Prizes will also be given away to viewers commenting on its Twitch channel during the sets, so that’s another incentive for you to get a Twitch profile – if you haven’t already. And The Analog Vault has yet another big announcement regarding its label, TAV Records, and this will be revealed on the live-stream on 10 October.

“Next year, we've got our eyes set on some key players, moving our focus to the bands/groups in Singapore such as Kribo Records. Ultimately, we just hope to build a stronger community through TAV Records. The label exists as an extension to the store; a platform for artists we love to present their work in the format we believe in,” the team explains.

“It's been a learning process trying to run both a label alongside the store, especially defining its identity within the bubbling music landscape we have here in Singapore. We'll see how we learn, grow and change moving forward, but for now, our approach is simply presenting great music from local artists that deserve to be heard on vinyl!”
