The charity of choice is the Food Bank Singapore that provides around 10,000 daily meals for needy families and foreign workers affected by the lashings of the pandemic. In achieving this, it also supports F&B retailers not spared by the lockdown restrictions via a pay-it-forward meal; to find out more, you can visit this official fundraising website. Blackout Broadcast hopes to raise awareness for this initiative, with a platform for donations on its Twitch link.

While the government-imposed circuit breaker seems to be reaching its tail end, it’s still evident that the party climate isn’t going to be the same anytime soon, let alone communities and families still recovering from impoverished conditions. With Blackout Broadcast, this is your chance to support them all.

Blackout Broadcast x Foodbank Fundraiser, 28-29 May 2020, 12pm-8pm. For more information on streaming and donations, visit the official event page.
