First up, a huge thanks to everyone who showed up for the debut of 15-Min Flash Mix (LIVE) at The Last Mile, and to all the event partners who made this platform possible. Back to regular scheduled programming, we now continue with episode 36 of Life In Arpeggio’s 15-Min Flash Mix. And for this, we’re keeping things techno.

Taz Angullia is our special guest for this episode, and she’s been a scorching contender in the Singaporean DJ circuit with past gigs at Zouk, Kilo and Drip. Taz is also a resident of .KRATE, and has represented the pop-up club concept regionally in India and Thailand, and further abroad at Sisyphos in Berlin and the Amsterdam Dance Event. Beyond the decks, Taz is also a dancer and a vocalist, and has even dabbled in production with a couple of releases under her name. It’s an unstoppable energy that shows in her live performances, and you can sense it in her contribution to the 15-Min Flash Mix.

Taz summons a formidable techno vortex; a dark, powerful gravity that sucks you into its orbit. In it, you’ll find hypnotic muted synths and behemoth beats that roll and race. It’s austere and mechanical, sacrificing melodies for rhythms in a seamless, clean mish-mash of interlocking grooves. Even amidst the maximalism of her sound, it’s a well-executed performance of subtlety. Just listen for yourself.
