So what’s behind the door of the 15-Min Flash Mix episode 25? Today, we have the sounds of Emma SS. Hailing from Canada and now based in Singapore, Emma possesses a success story that saw her coming out of the pandemic with newfound skills behind the decks.

With a foundation growing up amidst London club institutions like Fabric and Ministry of Sound, and enamoured by the buzz of our local scene, Emma turned isolation into inspiration. What first began as a family bonding activity became a passionate hobby for the music digger, and she honed her chops over the past year with online mixes and performances for private occasions. All that hard work eventually culminated in a recent gig at Upstairs where she got to play alongside Amber H.

For the 15-Min Flash Mix, Emma delivers a voyage that is tribal, spiritual, intoxicating and iridescent. Showcasing her spectrum of influences, the mix explores everything from sultry melodic techno to sprightly indie dance. Picture trails of warm synth melodies and pumping volleys of bass that meander through a thicket of thumping beats. Sophisticated and collected, this is a sturdy mix that’s merely a teaser of what’s to come in the budding craft of Emma SS.
