Jean’s DJ journey began in 1999, and she’s experimented with a diverse palette of sounds ranging from house and trap to bass and reggae. Her boundless repertoire allowed her to make the city her playground, as she commanded the decks of all sorts of events including ZoukOut, Good Times, Under The Bridge, ATTAGIRL!, Guerilla, and Singapura Dub Club just to list a few.

As a producer, Jean’s also racked up several releases to her name through the years, including her 2020 The KI EP that traversed bass-inclined electronica, and her avant-garde Whimsy EP in 2016 where she tinkered with field recordings and 3D binaural sounds. Flexing her sound specialist muscles further, Jean also kick-started Moon Lounge Radio during the height of the pandemic. Taking on the role of DJ, VJ and host of the live-stream series, she created a virtual space that ushered viewers into a tailored utopia of sound.

In a similar vein, her episode of the 15-Min Flash Mix hopes to guide you into a cosy haven. Here, she begins with nebulous lullabies and ambient swirls, triggering a hypnotic ebb and flow that locks you in her rhythm. The meditative wave eventually opens up as it takes form and exhibits more electronic elements, exploring loungy deep house and wobbly dubstep.
